A Little bit about me.
Hi. I’m Jessi and I document people at weddings and I bloody love it! I live in telford, Shropshire with the best second shooter a girl could ask for! Some very supportive best friends I call my parents. Not forgetting our little fur babies Sydney and harbour or as I like to nickname them haribo and skidders. I have grown up in the art and design world taking up media diploma studies from just 14 years old.
At just 13 years old, my photography journey took off like a rocket! I can practically hear you saying, "How can a kid know what they want to be at such a young age?" Well, let me tell you, this gal knew exactly what she wanted!
Unlike my classmates, my childhood was quite different. I spent a significant amount of time in and out of hospitals due to a condition called Hypogammaglobulinemia. It’s a fancy term for Common Variable Immunodeficiency (CVID). Trust me, battling infections from a hospital bed wasn’t exactly my idea of fun. I was too old for the playroom but too young for the adult wards (not that I wanted to go there anyway!).
The hospital was a land of limited entertainment, but fear not! I conquered Crash Bandicoot on my Game Boy like a true gaming maestro. And when I needed a break from the pixels, my trusty pink Motorola flip phone became my sidekick, capturing countless photographs. I even turned doctors, nurses, and my partner-in-hospital-bedside-crime, Rebecca, into unsuspecting models. Shout-out to my amazing parents who made me endure an eternal wait of five whole months before I could finally lay my hands on my first camera. Patience really is a virtue, or so they say!
And that's when the obsession began!
What started as a hobby and a bit of fun quickly transformed into an all-consuming passion. I dreamt of documenting life’s experiences through still images, turning my love into a full-time career. I wanted to freeze those magical moments in time, creating memories that would last forever.
So, let’s get real for a moment. We all come from those CRAZY families, don’t we? (Come on, admit it, we secretly love them!) And guess what? They are my ultimate reason for documenting weddings!

When I step into a wedding, I have one mission: to discover the vast tapestry of aunts, uncles, friends, coworkers, and all those amazing souls who have woven themselves into your life story. It’s like unlocking a treasure trove of love! And it’s my honor to capture that love on one extraordinary day, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
You see, I’m not just interested in snapping the classic, smile-for-the-camera shots. Oh no, I’m after those priceless moments that make your heart skip a beat. Picture this: you and your dad tearing up the dance floor together, grooving to that Beatles tune (or, in my case, rocking out to the incredible Jersey Boys) just like you did when you were five. Those are the moments I live for!
